Next step for GLOCK’s Casper

It was another big day for the young GLOCK dressage horses on 9 April. Following the highly successful first trial (see GLOCK News of 3 April 2013) to select the Dutch team for the upcoming 2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden (GER) in August (7—11), GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud went on to present six-year-old GLOCK’s Casper at the second trial at the KNHS equestrian centre in Ermelo (NED). A lovely mover, the Westpoint son also passed this test and has now qualified for the third trial on 19 April 2013, which will again be held at Ermelo’s KNHS centre.

The Dutch selection process for the 2013 WCYH is scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, 2 April – 1st selection (preliminary test) –> qualified
Tuesday, 9 April – 2nd selection (preliminary test) –> qualified
Friday, 19 April – 3rd selection (preliminary test)
Tuesday, 18 June – 4th selection (main arena – final test)
Monday, 1 July – 5th selection (main arena – final test/coaching/videoing/vet inspection)
Tuesday, 16 July – 6th selection (main arena – preliminary test/definitive selection)
