Top placings for Gerco & GLOCK’s Debalia

Staged for what was this year already the 36th time,  the top tournament, CSI4* A Coruña, took place at the Casas Novas equestrian sports centre from July 20th – 22nd. GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder made the long trip to the north-west of Spain with GLOCK’s Debalia, GLOCK’s Dobelensky and GLOCK’s Champions Ludwig.

Giving particular grounds for celebration this very weekend was ten-year-old KWPN mare GLOCK’s Debalia.  Under Gerco, this daughter of Numero Uno jumped the lofty Longines Ranking competition over 1.45 m on Friday and Sunday in magnificent style to achieve fourth and second places. Eleven-year-old GLOCK’s Champions Ludwig, bred from Ludwigs Ass, mastered the tasks he was set magnificently on the 4-star course over all three days. Under Gerco and jumping over 1.35 m, he remained penalty-free three times and only just missed a 4-star placing. Gerco was also able to pilot ten-year-old GLOCK’s Dobelensky, son of Cornet Obolensky, penalty-free through the 4-star World Ranking competition (1.50 m) on Friday (20/07).
