Belgian power in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour

At the conclusion of the first day of the International Show Jumping at GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria, 35 seven to eight-year-old young horses had the chance to prove their talents in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour. The course over 1.35 m offered enough space to canter for the future crack performers, but there was also the chance to try out some tight turns.

This is exactly what Bertram Allen (IRL) did with lively Christy Jnr. The seven-year-old BWP gelding of Indoctro x Clinton was the fastest of the young horses at 67.12 seconds. David Will (GER), who came second with similarly seven-year-old Casco, son of Caspar, was in close pursuit. The duo took only six-hundredths longer for the course (0/67.18). Curtis Sitte too, an eight-year-old BWP stallion of Ugano Sitte, stayed under the 68 seconds mark, jumping to third place (0/67.46) under Paul Estermann (SUI).

Austria’s Gerfried Puck (St), in the saddle of Elroyal (Numero Uno x Lupicor), was able to secure fourth place in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour in a penalty-free 69.88 seconds.
