Strong international performances

GLOCK riders Robert and Gerfried Puck held their own against the competition from other countries at this weekend’s international two-star show jumping events both in Austria and the Netherlands.

The second week of the MAGNA RACINO Winter Tour was held from 20 to 23 February. It was a CSI2* jumping event that also included competitions for young horses and young riders. The KWPN gelding GLOCK’s Celebration B did well here in the 1.30 m Silver Tour with clear rounds and an eighth place followed by third in the final. Gerfried Puck also placed in the Silver Tour with eight-year-old Westphalian gelding GLOCK’s Chamonix B in 17th.

It also proved to be a great weekend for GLOCK rider Robert Puck. As he lives in the Netherlands, he used the CSI2* CSIYH1* in Roosendaal (NED) from 20 to 23 February 2014 for the youngsters to gain show experience and the Big Tour for GLOCK’s Zaranza to prepare for the Gothenburg Horse Show. In the Youngster Tour GLOCK’s Charismatic Boy finished an excellent tenth in the final for seven-year-old horses. The 1.30 m Small Tour saw GLOCK’s Alato SR placing with a win and eleventh in the final. GLOCK’s Zaranza also looked very much at ease in Roosendaal: ridden by Robert Puck the ten-year-old KWPN stallion (Karandasj x Heartbreaker) clinched a double clear and 15th in the 1.40 m Medium Tour, a clear first round and then 15th in the jump-off for the 1.45 m Big Tour, and twelfth in the Den Goubergh Grand Prix.
