Team bronze and strong performances from GLOCK’s young horses

All classes of the Austrian National Show Jumping Championships were held together for the first time at Magna Racino from 29 August to 1 September, thus writing equestrian sport history this weekend. Following a difficult first competition and two strenuous rounds, GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck and the Styrian team emerged as the winners of the bronze medal in team jumping at the championships.

GLOCK riders Gerfried Puck and Dieter Köfler were also successful in some of the subsidiary competitions. Gerfried Puck and GLOCK’s Chamonix B, only a seven year old, came 17th with a great clear round in the standard 1.30 m LM class on Thursday, collecting their first placing, with the next ones following on Saturday. Two clear rounds in the 1.30 m LM gave him sixth with GLOCK’s Chamonix B and 16th place with GLOCK’s Celebration B. Another flawless ride on the same horse then secured seventh on Sunday. Dieter Köfler and GLOCK’s Prince de Vaux competed in the 1.45 m S** class open jumping on Saturday and finished ninth with 4.25 penalty points.
