Thirteen World Cup points for Hans Peter in Amsterdam

As one of the largest equestrian sport events in the Netherlands, Jumping Amsterdam stands as an unforgettable highlight of each sporting year. Staged at the RAI Amsterdam congress centre are World Cup stages in both show jumping and dressage, drawing huge numbers of spectators. Given that GLOCK’s Zonic was not 100% fit, with the result that Edward Gal had to withdraw from starting in Amsterdam, it was to be GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud and that wonderful eleven-year-old, GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P., who would represent Team GLOCK at the dressage World Cup of Amsterdam (25-27/01/2019).

Following a fantastic third place in the World Cup Grand Prix on Friday (25/01) and many performance highlights in the piaffe-passage tour and half-passes, everything went brilliantly for the GLOCK Duo in the World Cup freestyle on Saturday too. For both the degree of difficulty and choreography it was almost all scores above 9 and the piaffe-passage tour went really well again. Unfortunately, mistakes in the one-tempi changes cost valuable points but, with an overall score of 81.380%, Hans Peter Minderhoud and GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. took fifth place nevertheless. A fantastic performance for the experienced rider and that young, highly talented KWPN stallion, GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P.

Things also look super in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ 2018/2019 interim ranking: after eight rounds, Hans Peter is in an outstanding fourth place with a total of 61 points.
