World Cup weekend in two disciplines

The weekend from 28 February to 2 March saw the last qualifying leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping and the second last of the Reem Acra World Cup™ Dressage Western European League being held in Gothenburg (SWE).

GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud competed in the World Cup Dressage on twelve-year-old Jazz son Johnson. The two came fourth in the Grand Prix de Dressage with 71.140% and fourth in the World Cup Freestyle with 77.400%, earning more important points for the World Cup. Following the seventh leg in Gothenburg, GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud is now fifth in the current Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ standings and, like GLOCK rider Edward Gal in seventh place, has qualified for the World Cup final!

GLOCK rider Robert Puck also did very well: riding GLOCK’s Ambelina JB, an only nine-year-old mare, he secured 15th place in the jump-off of the 1.50 m world ranking competition on Thursday. GLOCK’s Charismatic Boy came eleventh in the Youngster Tour and GLOCK’s Zaranza was also in excellent form. The elegant stallion placed eighth in Thursday’s 1.45 m jumping, 19th in Friday’s 1.50 m Volvo Cup and 23rd in the 1.60 m FEI World Cup™ with only one knockdown, holding his own against the top-class starting field in all three competitions counting for the LONGINES world rankings.
