World premiere and world ranking points

GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud and GLOCK’s Romanov took part in their first World Cup together at the CDI-W Odense (DEN) from 16 to 20 October, the first round of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™. They got off to a good start scoring 70.319% in Saturday’s Grand Prix to place seventh. On Sunday the GLOCK duo caused a sensation with a world premiere: they showed a new freestyle for the first time with music specially composed by Joost Peters for the choreography. The judges awarded them 74.950%, making them the best Dutch pair in sixth in this first leg of the World Cup series.

Another GLOCK rider, Robert Puck, competed in his first World Cup event with GLOCK horses at the CSI5*-W in Helsinki (FIN). On Friday he placed 12th in the 1.40 m speed class with GLOCK’s Alato SR and on Saturday pulled off a great feat with GLOCK’s Ambelina JB: fifth in the 1.50 m competition counting for the Longines Rankings. 

At the same time, GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck was chalking up successes at the October Festival, a CSI2* event in the Lake Arena (Wiener Neustadt/Lower Austria). In the seven-year-old youngsters GLOCK’s Chamonix B placed several times with three top results. Six-year-old GLOCK’s Celebration B even topped his placing on Wednesday with a win in Saturday’s final.

GLOCK’s Wibo B finished his warm-up in the 1.30 m Rubin Tour in ninth place. It got really exciting at the 1.40 m Ostarrichi Indoor Derby on Saturday. The long, challenging course did not however pose any problems for the impressive grey: he went clear in the first round and the jump-off to take home an excellent fourth place here. In addition to the top placing, GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck also claimed the Derby Crown, which he secured with GLOCK’s Usrava and a runner-up spot at the Steinfeld Derby in August and with GLOCK’s Wibo B and a fourth place at the Ostarrichi Indoor Derby in October.
