Talent test for GLOCK’s Casper and GLOCK’s Zonik

The Netherlands is in the process of picking out the best talent for the 2013 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses to be held in Verden (GER) from 7 to 11 August 2013. On 1 July the fifth selection took place in Ermelo (NED). The horses that managed this hurdle go through to the trials on 16 July before getting the final go-ahead for the World Championships.

Talented GLOCK’s Casper has now passed all the tests. The elegant Westpoint son also proved himself at the fifth selection for competing in the Worlds. GLOCK’s Zonik on the other hand, a Blue Hors Zack son that GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud impressively presented here for the first time, got a wild card at the Danish Warmblood Society’s request.

The typical Danish Warmblood stallion shows excellent basic gaits and won the final of Denmark’s four-year-old dressage horses in 2011 with a sensational score of 9.3 points. His trot even earned him a ten from the judges! In 2012 he ranked among the most attractive stallion prospects. Now he can be admired at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in August (7—11). “We’re happy,” said GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud looking pleased. He will now also ride this wonderful GLOCK stallion along with GLOCK’s Casper at the Worlds.
