Triple Amateur Tour win for Austria with Carinthia on top

Aged just under 15, Nika Kulmitzer is among the youngest here but was more than a match for her elders today at the start of the international Amateur Tour. The reigning Carinthian Youth Champion went effortlessly clear on her 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding Laptop V. and her unbeatable time of 61.92 seconds was rewarded with the opening win.

Also contributing to the fantastic Austrian result were Dieter Sommerhuber, the Carinthian Federation’s jumping representative, in second on his 17-year-old ‘professor’ Rubico (62.64) and Styria’s Kerstin Mohapp with her Flemmingh son, First Sensation M (63.26). It was a great start to a very special weekend!
