Seven top rankings for Gerco and the GLOCK horses

Gerco Schröder was rather busy at the De Peelbergen (NED) CSI2* event. The GLOCK Rider participated with no fewer than three horses, achieving a total of seven top rankings. GLOCK’s Debalia is developing superbly; the nine-year-old KWPN mare was twice penalty-free in the Medium Tour Finale (1.40 m), coming 5th. Quite ambitious over all the courses was the also nine-year-old GLOCK’s Dobelensky. This offspring of Cornet Obolensky was penalty-free on both Thursday and Friday, coming seventh on Thursday.

But the greatest source of joy was GLOCK’s Zaranza. The KWPN stallion, bred from Karandasj x Heartbreaker, is now in great shape again after two severe colic surgeries. Gerco rode him for the first time in the Big Tour again and was able to achieve two placings from two starts. It was tenth place on Thursday in the Big Tour kick-off test and second place in the world ranking competition with jump-off over 1.45 m on Friday, in which, in addition, GLOCK’s Champions Ludwig came fifth.
