Go to Fortuna wins the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour under Bertram Allen (IRL)

Twelve obstacles with 13 jumps over 1.35 to 1.40 m, a course extending over 450 m and a permitted time of 78 seconds. This was the task facing a total of 26 youngster horses in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour. Seven seven-year-old and 19 eight-year-old future equine hopes had been nominated for this competition by their riders, with a view to their collecting tournament experience at the highest level.

Victory in the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour went to the eight-year-old KWPN gelding, Go to Fortuna (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Vancouver), presented by Ireland’s young star, Bertram Allen. This duo rode magnificently to the finish in 60.85 seconds.

Just as magnificently, but 2.35 seconds more slowly, the just seven-year-old stallion, My Surprise-K van’t Kattenheye (Clinton x Avontuur), and Denis Nielsen (GER) dealt with the task.

The third-placed, eight-year-old mare, Novita Jovial Z (Nabab de Reve x Carthago Z), also made a promising impression under Laura Renwick (GBR) and, in a penalty-free 63.32 seconds, took third place in the kick-off to the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour.
