A CDI3* Grand Prix Special win for Stephan Köberle (GER)

Yesterday he was third in the CDI3* opener (Grand Prix de Dressage) and today he was ripe for victory. In the CDI3* Grand Prix Special, Stephan Köberle (GER) aboard his 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding Darjeeling by De Niro pulled off a good performance in the GHPC arena and also clinched the win with a total of 68.750%. Margo Timmermans (NED) glowed in second place. Trusting in her Metall daughter Utah, the Dutch rider scored three firsts and two seconds for a total 68.604% only to be marginally beaten. Third place went to the UK’s Emma Hindle on her 14-year-old Caretano son Chequille with a 66.458%.

Of the local riders, Martin Hauptmann (Styria) achieved the highest score. The Styrian had faith in his 13-year-old stallion Frechdachs H and was best Austrian in fifth spot with 64.583%.
