A wonderful weekend for GLOCK at the 2013 Schärding horse show

What a fantastic weekend in Schärding! Both GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck and GLOCK rider Dieter Köfler competed in the fourth leg of the prestigious Casino Grand Prix series from 15 to 18 August, which in the end proved more than worthwhile. The weather was beautiful, the conditions superb and the audience large for the show staged in Schärding and both GLOCK riders had great success. Dieter Köfler impressed everyone with GLOCK’s Zyrano who jumped brilliantly on Thursday in the Schärding Prize, a 1.40 m S* competition, to earn a well-deserved victory. He even managed to maintain his top form in the Casino Grand Prix on Sunday. The GLOCK pair was fast and went clear both in the 1.50 m first round and the jump-off, securing the win. As the icing on the cake, Dieter’s placings with his other horses gave him the title of the most successful rider at the Schärding horse show: a truly excellent weekend for the Carinthian and the GLOCK team.

GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck also played a part in the good results: on GLOCK’s Usrava the Styrian placed third in the 1.45 m S** competition, while on six-year-old GLOCK’s Celebration he came third in the final of the Elité Fixkraft Jump Trophy and fifth in the Alltech Prize, thus claiming three other top placings.
