Danielle van Mierlo winning on the kick-off at CDIU25

Today for the first time, for riders under 25 at Dressage International at GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, it was about victories and rankings. In the context of the CDIU25 Intermediaire II test, twelve participants from six nations presented their horses in the arena. And there was a clear victory for the Netherlands. Twenty-five-year-old Danielle van Mierlo has already won two medals in young European championships. She showed a solid performance in the saddle of her KWPN gelding Ucento and, despite some slight disagreements amongst judges, was able to secure her victory with 68.974 %.

Paso Doble is the melodic name of the 17-year old stallion of Machteld Hoeflake (NED). With 66.579%, this pairing from the Netherlands scored second and Anne Sofie Aaen from Denmark came third in the saddle of her horse Schambuka Soelyst with 66.526 %.

With Donnerbube Junior, Manuel Springhetti (AUT/W) received 65.895% from the judges, Tatjana Svehla (AUT/NÖ) and Donaublick received 65.500 % and Nicole Osterwald (AUT/NÖ) was awarded 60.553% for her performance on Angelo. This gave Austria a triple presence in the presentation ceremony ranking fifth, seventh and eleventh.
