Dressage International: it’s kick-off time!

At last the moment has come. The GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER opens its doors for Dressage International, truly Austria’s most spectacular dressage event. The only international 4-star dressage tournament in Carinthia will be opened today at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER. Till Sunday, international riders from more than ten countries will demonstrate their skills in the dressage arena on around 120 horses.

The starting signal will be given on Thursday (May 28th) at 11 am with the 3 and 4 star Grand Prix as the opening. From this point in time you will be able to follow thrilling equestrian dressage sport from U25 junior riders to megastars. The prize money at stake over this special event weekend amounts to 100,000 euros. From May 28th till 31st, visitors will be able to observe Olympic, World and European champions in the dressage arena. The highlight of these four days of equestrian sport will be the CDI4* freestyle to music, with 40,000 euros of prize money.

Riding stars
Those who would like to keep their fingers crossed for all the stars like Valentina Truppa, Elena Sidneva, Edward Gal, Hans Peter Minderhoud, or for our local heroes Martin Hauptmann and Nikolaus Erdmann, can do so via free entry to the tournament grounds, whilst sampling equestrian sport and a world-of-stars atmosphere. The GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER offers an exceptional programme for the duration of four days, reflecting the theme “Horses and Stars” at Dressage International.

With the theme “Horses and Stars”, there’s  GLOCK-style high-class entertainment awaiting guests in the exclusive Riders Lounge:

• Styling Lounge with star stylist Eren Bektas and his team

Cooking Lounge 
German star chef Alfons Schuhbeck will gain be delighting all in his Cooking Lounge at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER. Here, all tournament guests enjoy free entry. The cooking shows take place on Friday and Saturday at 11am, 2pm and 5pm and on Sunday at 11am and 2pm. 

Free entry 
The tournament arena is accessible to all visitors free of charge. In the Kids Lounge and at the Pony Riding area, fun and entertainment are guaranteed for the youngsters. Dogs have been considered too: in the Dog Lounge there’s plenty of sustenance and the very finest of massages (by appointment and subject to availability) for your faithful pets.
