First victory for Austria in the GLOCK’s 2* Tour

Today 28 participants were on the hunt for scores in the GLOCK’s 2* Tour. The ten obstacles in this test over 1.40 m had been assigned scores according to their number in the course. Those who were able to tackle them and the airy joker obstacle in a penalty-free run achieved scores of 65 on their accounts. Eight of the rider-horse duos made it to the finishing line with full scores and, for the first time this weekend, an Austrian rider delivered the best time.

For five years now, Marianne Schindele (AUT/K) has been a returning guest at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria and has stood on the pedestal several times. Today at last she managed to achieve top placing with her 14-year-old Selle Francais gelding Outlaw. “My horse is in top form and today everything was perfect” said the female rider in the winner’s interview. As the last to start, she pushed Lucas Porter (USA) and Phineas, leaders to that point and yesterday placed second, into second place (52.23). Ioli Mytilineou (GRE) and Companion, son of Colander, followed in 52.41 seconds for third place.
