GLOCK’s summer show and a four-star premiere

Visitors can look forward to an action-packed summer weekend featuring star riders and horses from 26 nations, top-class show jumping and international entertainment at a venue that is truly unique. Staged from 4 to 7 July 2013, the international four-star show jumping premiere at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER promises to be a very special event.

Horses and stars
Competitors and spectators can enjoy a truly magical experience for four whole days that Gaston and Kathrin Glock have planned with a great deal of care, attention to detail and perfection. The design in the Riders Lounge is breathtaking, the DO & CO catering exquisite, the international acts fantastic and the donations to people and animals in need moving.

International star lineup
The standard of sport and number of star riders is amazing. A total of €487,000 in prize money will be awarded, with €300,000 alone reserved for GLOCK’s Grand Prix on Sunday (7 July). Many Olympic and World Cup winners as well as World and European Champions have already registered for the event.

The number ten in the world, Marcus Ehning (GER), has for example arranged his engagements around this competition for the first time and will take on the strong Swiss contingent with the world’s number six, Steve Guerdat (SUI), five times Grand Prix winner Beat Mändli (SUI) and 2012 European Young Rider Champion, Martin Fuchs (SUI). One of the most successful riders in the world with over 18 championship medals to his name, John Whitaker (GER), is coming from England. Aachen winner Janne Frederike Mayer (GER) has also entered, as has Olympic champion Jos Lansink (BEL).

In addition, Alvaro de Miranda (BRA) and his wife Athina Onassis (GRE) will be vying for the prizes. Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), Reynald Angot (FRA), Lars Nieberg (GER), Marc Houtzager (SUI) and Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) have put their names down and will also be crowd pullers.

Stars from Austria
Austria is also sending its stars to the show. From Carinthia’s local heroes Gerfried and Robert Puck and Dieter Köfler to the outstanding lady Julia Kayser and Austria’s number one Stefan Eder, all the big names will be there. Renowned German architect Frank Rothenberger, Franz Madl (AUT/Upper Austria) and Adi Appe (AUT/Carinthia) are responsible for the specially designed GLOCK course.

Free admission
As always, the show ground is open to visitors and admission is free.
DO & CO caters for guests in the Public Lounge, while the Kids Lounge with pony rides makes sure the youngest members of the family have fun, too. Dogs are not neglected either: in the Dog Lounge there is ample food, water and soothing massages for our four-legged friends.
