Good news for GLOCK in Austria and Italy

Over the weekend from 2—5 May 2013, the GLOCK riders opened the month of May with the CSIO3* in Linz, the third week of the CSI3* Magna Racino Spring Tour and the CSI3* in San Giovanni in Marignano.

The Magna Racino Spring Tour went into its third and final leg at the Magna Racino equestrian sports park (Lower Austria) and this time GLOCK riders Robert and Gerfried Puck again finished in top places. Competing in the 1.40 m Gold Tour on Thursday, Robert Puck on GLOCK’s Alato SR was the best Austrian in third place. In the 1.50 m Diamond Tour there was no beating GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck and GLOCK’s Wibo B — which secured them a well-deserved win in the Diamond Tour.

GLOCK rider Dieter Köfler and GLOCK’s Prince de Vaux were selected for the Austrian team at the CSIO3* in Linz-Ebelsberg (Upper Austria). As a warm-up, there was the 1.40 m Silver Tour on Thursday, which the GLOCK pair jumped coolly, calmly and without any faults at the obstacles to take 21st position. The calm on Thursday then paid off in the 1.50 m Furusiyya Nations Cup™. Together with the other riders on the Austrian side (Julia Kayser, Astrid Kneifel and Stefan Eder), Dieter claimed fourth spot in the high-class team jumping over two rounds.

In Italy GLOCK rider Markus Stock clinched good placings in the CSI3*/CSI2*. He was rewarded with fourth place on Thursday for the clear round on GLOCK’s Naba Uno in the 1.30 m Tour. In the 1.40 m jump class Markus Stock qualified for the jump-off on GLOCK’s Lightning and finally took 13th. On the following days he went on to finish ninth and eighth with GLOCK’s Naba Uno in the 1.30 m jump class.
