Hans Peter Minderhoud and Zanardi do the hat trick!

The last day of Dressage International at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER was kicked-off by twelve participants in CDI3* Intermediaire I Freestyle. Six nations were represented by their riders and, for the seventh time this weekend, the Netherlands provided the winner.

In this test GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud again trusted his ten year-old KWPN stallion Zanardi. Rubels’ offsping, twice taken by Minderhoud to world championship medals (young dressage horses), this weekend followed in the wake of his famous father and succeeded in doing the CDI3*-Tour hat trick for Oranje. The judges’ vote was 76.275 % for the freestyle performance presented whilst, in the B category (artistic performance), the pairing got votes up to 81.000 % - truly a top score! "I am very happy about Zanardi’s performance. He has worked fantastically this weekend and now certainly earned a break,” said Hans Peter Minderhoud, beaming during the winner’s interview.

The Netherlands also scored in the second place with Margo Timmermans. The ‘Amazon’ and her only seven year old Catch Me of Dreamcatcher were awarded up to 72.000% in the technical A category. In the B category she was given up to 76.000 %, the overall vote of 71.750 % was, for her, a great final in the Dressage International 2014 and a clear signal for the future.

Seth Boschmann and Adriaan RVL completed the Dutch triple victory. He came only 0.005 % behind Margo Timmermans, his overall score of 71.475 % made for the third place and a big smile at the awards ceremony. After two third places in the past days, Teresa Rochelt from Tyrol, with her ten year old Holsteiner mare Dolana, today succeeded in achieving a great fifth place. With 70.250 % and three fantastic performances, she said a joyful good-bye to the HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER.

Also scoring for Austria, Sonja Grossauer (AUT/B) with Davignio (7th place / 69.450 %), Jacqueline Toniutti (AUT/ST) with Sandrose (8th / 68.450 %), Sabine Dürrheim (AUT/W) with Wocelli (10th / 67.550 %) and Juliane Vogt (AUT/OÖ) with Flipper NRW (12th / 67.125 %).
