International successes in show jumping

Not only the World Cup jumping but also the Nations Cup was hotly contested at the CSIO3*-W-NC (1–4 August 2013) in Bratislava, Slovakia. What is more, the heat made the atmosphere even more electrifying. Following a fourth place with the Austrian team in the Nations Cup, GLOCK rider Dieter Köfler on GLOCK’s Zyrano first jumped well in the 1.40 m Middle Tour and then showed his skill in the Six Bar competition. Both times he came third. In the challenging Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Bratislava FEI World Cup, Dieter Köfler and GLOCK’s Prince De Vaux took the 1.60 m World Cup course in their stride to go clear and finish ninth with only one time penalty.

Calato son GLOCK’s Alato SR obviously felt at ease with GLOCK rider Robert Puck in Crans Montana, Switzerland, last weekend (1–4 August). Having placed fifth in the opening 1.30 m Small Tour on Thursday, the charismatic eight-year-old grey gelding went on to demonstrate his talent and ability to jump in the final on Saturday. In the first round of the 1.35 m class, Robert Puck and GLOCK’s Alato SR produced a nice smooth clear. They again sped round the track in the jump-off without touching any of the poles, which gave them the win in the Small Tour final - a second ahead of the runner-up.
