Lukasz Wasilewski (POL) does it again – Second CSI2* victory

Polish rider Lukasz Wasilewski and his horses have shown themselves to be in fantastic shape over this weekend. Yesterday he already won the CSI2* opening, topping the success today! In the CSI2* accumulator with joker jumping competition over 1.45 m, Wasilewski trusted in the eleven-year old KWPN-gelding Wavantos V. Renvillehoeve. The brown horse jumped outstandingly, whilst allowing himself to be guided by his rider on the perfect line around the tight turns. This combination of speed and agility helped the duo to achieve the full score of 65 points and a winning time of 50.77 seconds.
 
Inspired by his victory in the preceding competition, Juergen Krackow (AUT/S) piloted the nine-year-old mare Ailonka magnificently through the course, achieving 52.70 seconds and 65 points for second place. Also Carinthian rider Marianne Schindele, with Outlaw II, attempted to beat the minimum time. With a course time of 55.57, however, she did not quite succeed, but third place was a great reward.
 
Strong performances also by yet more Austrian riders. Patrick Proemer (St) and Whinny Loretto came sixth, ahead of Georg Hladik (NÖ) on Obora's Partano (7th place) and Sabrina Pollhammer (B) on Bal Pare (8th place). Felix Koller (OÖ) on Moosbachhof's Calogero and Katharina Schiller (NÖ) on Robert Heinrich Kvö completed the group of placements ranking eleventh and twelfth.
