Show time for Dressage International

With the outdoor season now in full swing, the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER is ready to host the Dressage International from 16 to 19 May. It will feature an amazing mix of sport with 72 star riders from 14 nations and entertainment with international show stars.

The grounds are ready, the €278,000 prize money is waiting and the Whitsun date is seemingly ideal. At any rate, the response from the dressage riders has been overwhelming: Olympic medallists, European and World Champions, and World Cup winners have registered for the international three and four-star event, which is being combined with an international under 25 dressage competition for the first time to promote young riders. Bearing the unique hallmark of managing director Kathrin Glock and her proven team, the show again promises to be a very special one.

Star riders and horses in the dressage arena
Happiness is on horseback for the dressage specialists holding the reins elegantly in their hands. The horses are their personal stars and have many fans themselves. They will be in their element at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, as riders from all over the world are travelling with their top mounts to the four-day show.

Whether European Championship bronze, World Championship gold, World Games gold and Olympic silver winner GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED) or Olympic riders such as Valentina Truppa (ITA), Claudia Fassaert (BEL) and Anna Merveldt (IRL) or team bronze winner at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington Anabel Balkenhol (GER) or the exceptionally talented 19-year-old Ellen Schulten-Baumer (GER) or European, World Championship and Olympic competitor Patrik Kittel (SWE) or the holder of eight Olympic, eight World Championship and 14 European Championship medals dressage queen Isabell Werth (GER) or the Spaniard Juan Manuel Munoz Diaz who delighted everyone at the World Equestrian Games with his Andalusian stallion Fuego dancing to guitar and castanet music — the line-up is incredibly long and equally exclusive.

The man who has arguably shaped modern dressage like no other has also agreed to be there with his personal star horse: Edward Gal — twice world record holder for the highest dressage score, three-time World and twice European Champion and bronze medallist at the 2012 Olympics — is regarded worldwide as the star in the dressage saddle. All eyes are bound to be on him when he enters the ring on his Olympic and World Cup horse Glock’s Undercover. Electric atmosphere, anyone?
