Star line-up at the Dressage International in Treffen

Horses and Stars is the Glock Horse Performance Center’s motto. While the focus will naturally be on the top horses and riders from 16–19 May 2013, there will be no lack of interest outside the dressage arena with international music, cinema and television celebrities.

Treffen
With the outdoor season now in full swing, the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER is ready to host the Dressage International. It will feature an amazing mix of sport with 72 star riders from 14 nations and entertainment with international show stars.

Down to the last detail
Gaston and Kathrin Glock’s credo, which applies to events and horses alike, is perfect planning and great attention to detail. It therefore comes as no surprise that the GHPC’s founder and owner Gaston Glock provides excellent facilities for riders and mounts in Treffen, especially for competitions like the Dressage International. Competitors and spectators can not only enjoy top-class sport but also a truly magical experience for four whole days: the design in the Riders Lounge is breathtaking. It provides exquisite catering from Do & Co as well as a Spa Lounge, Kids Lounge, Cinema Lounge and the new Styling Lounge with star stylist Eren Bektas and his international team. Also not to be missed: the amazing live acts by the show stars and generous donations to people and animals in need.

Stars in the dressage arena
A select few of the world’s dressage elite will be competing at the GHPC this weekend, guaranteeing exciting events and top performances. Along with the sport’s stars such as Edward Gal (NED) and Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED), Valentina Truppa (ITA), Claudia Fassaert (BEL), Katarzyna Milczarek (POL) and the famous Spaniard Juan Manuel Muñoz Díaz (ESP) are also expected. Admission to all the sporting events is free.

Concert highlights
Starting on the opening day, the American cult band Village People will be appearing with their catchy tunes, energetic choreography and such hits as YMCA and In the Navy on Thursday (16 May). Soul singer Dionne Warwick will follow on Friday (17 May), promising an incredible unforgettable evening, and on Saturday (18 May) disco queen Gloria Gaynor will rock the GHPC with her world hits including I Will Survive after the exciting events in the dressage arena.

Television stars from the US
Oil, passion, power and money: Dallas was THE cult series in the 1980s. In 2012, the Ewings made their television comeback and are now exclusive guests at the GHPC. Sue Ellen, Bobby Ewing, Cliff Barnes and Afton Cooper will congratulate the winning combinations in the dressage arena.

Cinema greats
The César Award winning French actor, director and producer Alain Delon is one of the great stars of French and international cinema. He became world famous in 1967 for his role in The Samurai. In 1995 he won the Golden Bear honorary award in Berlin. And now he will wow his fans at the GHPC over Whitsun. Fellow actress Daryl Hannah is a remarkable lady who has starred in many remarkable roles. It was in blockbusters such as Kill Bill and Wall Street that she won public acclaim. But Daryl also does some great work far away from Hollywood. As an animal rights activist, she runs a sanctuary in Colorado, thus proving she really has a heart for animals. Now you have the chance to meet her at the GHPC.

In addition to a first-rate concert programme, there will also be four days of world-class sporting events at the Glock Horse Performance Center in Treffen
The sporting events start at the GHPC in Treffen on Thursday, 16 May 2013. Spectators can look forward to exciting competitions. Admission to the dressage arena is free of charge as usual for all horse lovers.
