Superb World Cup results in France

The best dressage- and show jumping riders in the world gathered last weekend (October 30th to November 2nd) in the french town of Lyon. Both, dressage specialists and experts in the show jumping course such as the two GLOCK Riders Hans Peter Minderhoud and Gerco Schröder were eager to collect important points for the FEI World Cup.

With GLOCK's Flirt and GLOCK's Ziesto Hans Peter had brought two horses to France. While the ten year old GLOCK's Ziesto was there exclusively for training to get more experience, the chique 'Flirty' could show his talent in the World Cup competitions. On Thursday (30.10.) the Florestan I-Son and GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud participated in the REEM ACRA FEI World Cup™ Dressage Grand Prix. Smooth transitions, excellently ridden half-passes and well set pirouettes were rewarded with a total score of 73,220 % by the judges and therefore the sixth place.

The main competiton of the CDI-W Lyon, the REEM ACRA FEI World Cup™ Dressage Grand Prix Freestyle, was held on Friday. Once again GLOCK's Flirt impressed with the elasticity of his movements and his serenity and the score of 75,875 % put Hans Peter on the ninth rank. The GLOCK Rider is now on the tenth place in the current standings of the REEM ACRA FEI World Cup™ Dressage Series - ex-aequo with GLOCK Rider Edward Gal.

In the LONGINES FEI World Cup™ Jumping GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder achieved a great result with the eleven year old Holsteiner gelding Cognac Champblanc. The GLOCK Rider and the son of Clearway did not only remain faultless in the 1,60 m high first round of the World Cup Grand Prix on Sunday but also in the jump-off and earned the fourth place after a not to risky round. GLOCK Rider Gerco is now holding the 14th place after his debut in this year's World Cup.
