The CSI Welcome Party on Thursday

Today it was a trip round the world at the CSI Welcome Party at GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER. The evening began Cirque-du-Soleil-style with breathtaking acrobatics. A perfect adaptation featuring the “best of” the great shows stirred the senses and excited great emotions through the combination of acrobats, performers, musicians and singers.

But while this performance may have elicited astonished wonder at the capabilities of the human body, there was no holding back as the first beats rang out from the group ‘Tribute, A Salute To The Temptations’. Out poured one seventies hit after another. Finally, when the evergreen ‘My Girl’ arrived, the floodgates could hold no longer.

Then as ‘Chic le Freak’ ultimately stormed the stage with their number one hits, the Riders’ Lounge was really jumping. Yet despite the ‘Weather Girls’ super-hit ‘It’s raining men’, there was no cooling off. On the contrary, the astonishing voice of soul legend Ingrid Arthur brought one classic after another to life.

A big surprise then as Liz Mitchell, lead singer of the cult band ‘Boney M.’, strode on stage. Her worldwide hits ‘Rivers Of Babylon’, ‘No Woman, No Cry’, ‘Rasputin’ and ‘Ma Baker’ brought the exquisite evening to a perfect close at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER.
