Valentina Truppa triumph in CDI3* freestyle

She is already a regular in dressage events at GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, feeling well and truly comfortable in Austria’s most beautiful arena. Valentina Truppa showed a convincing performance with her experienced Fixdesign Chablis in CDI3* freestyle by virtue of a harmonious relationship between rider and horse, the difficulty of lessons as well as with the music and their interpretation of the tailor-made freestyle performance. Italy’s most famous policewoman fascinated both judges and audience, receiving 72.925% for her performance.   

That left Laura Reija from Spain a close second. She and her correspondingly Spanish stallion Recuerdo where rewarded with high points, in particular for their pirouettes, piaffs and passages, and the final result of 71.650 % was certainly one of which she could be proud.   

Less than a percentage point, that’s all Bernadette Brune (GER) would have needed for second place. She and her still young stallion of ten years, Spirit of the Age OLD, were awarded 71.175 %, with the Oldenburg warm-blood scoring particularly high with passages and collected trot.   

Austria was represented in the awards ceremony by Sonja Grossauer (AUT/B) and Don Dolany (7th/ 67.275 %), Amanda Hartung (AUT/T) with Wolkenritter (9th/ 66.275%) and Katrin Wergetis (AUT/NÖ) with Waldano (11th / 65.950%).
