Wonderful! Carinthian double victory to kick off International Show Jumping

The International Show Jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER is underway and, for these four days of equestrian events, sporting activities got off the mark as 29 riders took part in the CSIAm-A GLOCK's Amateur Tour. Twelve duos succeeded in completing the 1.20-metre-high course without errors, albeit with the winning time clearly coming from Carinthia. As second to start and with his nine-year-old Selle Français mare Ria de Janeiro, Mario Tschaitschmann rode error-free and achieved an unbeatable time of 52.41 seconds, whilst appearing in the winner’s interview to be highly motivated for the days to come: "I hope I can achieve such fast rides in the remaining days too; certainly I’ll have a go."

Not even the fast, great female riders Birgit Peintner (AUT/K) on Gaspari (0/54.14) and Gudrun Pirker (AUT/St) on Alpenspan Citadelle (0/54.66) were able to beat the winning time and so achieved second and third places. Also achieving placings for Austria were Theresa Kriessmann (St) on Claerchen 26 (0/56.42 – 5th), Anita Kribernegg-Heusserer (St) on Cimet 2 (0/59.56 – 9th), Katharina Leitsberger (K) on Alexia 2 (0/59.67 – 10th) and Tanja Maderthaner (K) on Alessa 4 (0/62.54 – 12th)
