Gerco Schröder successful in Spain

GLOCK rider Gerco Schröder traveled in March 2023 for three weeks to the popular sprint riding series “Sunshine Tour” in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. A total of six horses accompanied the champion rider, including ten-year-old BWP-stallion GLOCK’s Novellist (Carrera VDL x Dulf van den Bisshop), twelve-year-old KWPN-mare GLOCK’s Galanda (Lexicon x Animo) and nine-year-old KWPN-gelding GLOCK’s Brilliant Berlin (Berlin x Broere VDL Corland). All three were able to show their talents over 130-150 cm and were able to hold their own in the well-filled fields of competitors in the four-star tournament.

GLOCK’s Novellist, for example, remained without a knockdown in six of eight competitions, while stable neighbor GLOCK’s Brilliant Berlin was penalty-free in five of eight show jumping competitions. GLOCK’s Galanda executed some nice rounds and placed 14th in a CSI4* competition over 145 cm with a double-clear round.
