Gaston Glock donates €20,000 to the homeless animal shelter

The voluntary organisation is dedicated to providing homeless animals with appropriate housing. It is run by Karin and Franz Berger, who were moved to start it by a visit to a Slovak animal shelter in 2007: "We were absolutely horrified at how the animals were housed – we quickly organised friends and building materials, helping where we could. Having laid the foundations, we were totally committed to animal welfare." The organisation, however, has to rely on donations to pay for food and vet bills. On the first day of the major dressage competition at the GHPC, Managing Director Kathrin Glock gave Karin Berger a €20,000 donation on behalf of Gaston Glock.
