Team GLOCK triumphing in Den Bosch!

As soon as the international show-jumping and dressage tournament 'Indoor Brabant' pops up on the agenda, the world elite of equestrian sport are drawn to the Dutch city of 's-Hertogenbosch. Obviously Team GLOCK must not miss out. So GLOCK riders Edward Gal, Hans Peter Minderhoud and Gerco Schroeder started in the prestigious world cup event close to their home towns and delivered one top result after the other.

Five victories for Edward Gal, four top places for Hans Peter
Minderhoud!

GLOCK Rider Edward Gal presented nine-year-old GLOCK's Zonik for the first time, promptly securing victory in the Prix St. George. The son of Blue Hors Zack raised in Denmark delighted all with his exceptional pace and enormous verve in his movements, winning with an outstanding 78.289 %. Eddie knew how to wow the crowd too in the saddle of GLOCK's Voice. With the 13-year-old KWPN stallion he came first in both the CDI4* Grand Prix on Friday (75.900 %) and the CDI4* musical freestyle on Saturday (78.850 %). For the first time since the World Equestrian Games in Caen (FRA), GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud again started with GLOCK's Johnson TN and he too showed extraordinary form! Scores of 73.280 % in the CDI4* Grand Prix and 78.650 % in CDI4* musical freestyle secured second place for the GLOCK Duo on both days.

In the ninth and last leg of qualification for the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage, the two GLOCK riders were able to take it all in a more relaxed manner because they had long since secured their tickets to the finale in Las Vegas. Edward took GLOCK's Undercover N.O.P. to the start, Hans Peter relied on GLOCK's Flirt and both duos delivered phenomenal performances. With 82.680 %, Edward and 'Fritsie' not only secured first place in the World Cup Grand Prix on Friday but also delivered a breathtaking performance in the musical freestyle on Saturday. And, GLOCK Rider Edward Gal celebrated his fifth victory of the weekend with a mark of 84.925 %! On Saturday Hans Peter and 'Flirty' scored 75.660 % for fourth place. In the musical freestyle, with 80.425 %, the dream team established its own personal record and third place.

Edward will thus be the leading rider heading for the grand finale in Las Vegas (15th till 19th of April 2015), with Hans Peter ranking sixth.

Gerco Schroeder scoring on the course

While his colleagues rocked the dressage ring at the Brabant halls, GLOCK rider Gerco Schroeder gave absolute top performances on the show-jumping course. On Friday, with GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc jumping magnificently, Gerco remained penalty-free in the CSI5* show-jumping for the VDL Groep prize over 1.55 metres. GLOCK's Zaranza demonstrated his potential once again too. In the Audi Prijs on Saturday, again over 1.55 metres, the elegant stallion stayed easily penalty-free on the basic course, then also mastering the jump-off course with no problems and coming sixth with Gerco.

For the grand finale on Sunday, the Rolex Grand Prix over 1.60 metres with jump-off, Gerco had again prepared GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc. Again in this competition with top-class competitors, the Holsteiner gelding gave a convincing jumping performance. Two penalty-free courses and reaching the eighth place, once more the GLOCK Duo presented itself amongst the world’s top ten.
