It’s time once again: more than 175 horses and their riders from 15 nations will join international superstars from February 2nd till 5th 2017. Because that marks the “Welcome to paradise! Welcome to the season opening in GLOCK style with International Show Jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER.”
30 years of GLOCK in Ferlach, Austria
Following the splendid GLOCK USA jubilee last year, in 2017 it’s time to celebrate in Austria. Thirty years of GLOCK in Ferlach, Austria – reason enough to start celebrations in the setting of International Show Jumping.

GLOCK perfection meets equestrian sport
When the Gaston and Kathrin Glock family issue an invitation to the international season opening, all can count on a top-class event. The exclusivity and particular flair of tournaments held at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER are internationally renowned and carry the personal signature of managing director Kathrin Glock. The rush for those hotly contested places to compete begins earlier with each tournament. Because here, for a full four days, the gates open to reveal to participants and visitors alike not only top-class equestrian sport but also a truly magical world: the breathtaking design of the Riders Lounge, exquisite dining and cocktails, inspiring live acts by show stars and touching charity initiatives for people and animals in need.
International equestrian sport stars in the saddle
The riders are already looking forward to it: the total prize money awaiting athletes at the GHPC Austria amounts to 239,000 euros. The GLOCK’s 3* Grand Prix alone carries 100,000 euros of prize money. The youngster competitions and the possibility of coaching their own students in the CSI1* competitions make the season opening especially attractive for the stars of the equestrian sports world. Also tempting are the total of four FEI Longines world ranking list show jumping events.

Industrialist Gaston Glock handed his wife Kathrin responsibility for achieving international positioning of the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER in 2010. Today not only world champions, Olympic medal holders and European champions but also international show stars are delighted to attend tournaments as guests of the Gaston and Kathrin Glock family.

Free entry to the Cooking Lounge
German star chef Alfons Schuhbeck will gain be delighting all in his Cooking Lounge at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER. Here, all tournament guests enjoy free entry. The cooking shows take place on Friday and Saturday at 11am, 2pm and 5pm and on Sunday at 11am and 2pm.
Free entry to the tournament hall, public viewing and Dog Lounge
There is free entry to the spectator grandstand in the tournament hall every day. At the Public Lounge, day-guests can enjoy public viewing, exclusive catering and a supervised Kids Corner. The dogs aren’t forgotten either: at the Dog Lounge there are plenty of treats for our faithful friends.
