Top placing for Gerco in the Madrid 5-star trophy

During the first weekend in May (04-06/05/2018), the Longines Global Champions Tour Madrid took place on the city’s famous turf racecourse. GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder started with GLOCK's London and GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc. With a penalty-free round in the basic course over 1.50 m on GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc (Clearway x Caretino), Gerco qualified for the jump-off in “The King’s Cup - Volvo Trophy”. In the shortened jump-off over 1.55 m, Gerco and the Holstein stallion remained penalty-free once again. This meant eighth place amongst the top-class 5-star-level field of 49 participants.
GLOCK's London also scored in Spain: in the show-jumping on Friday over 1.45 m, the chestnut stallion presented himself with a relaxed, clear round.
