GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. sired world champion Zucchero OLD

Proof of the outstanding breeding qualities of GLOCK stallions was evident in the results of the World Breeding Dressage Championships for young Horses in Ermelo (NED). In the final for six-year-old dressage horses, a total of five stallions were sired by GLOCK stallions, along with one stallion each in the finals for five-year-olds and four-year-olds.

Zucchero OLD of GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. is world champion
The last to enter the arena in the world championships for 6-year-old dressage horses was Oldenburg premium stallion Zucchero OLD. With an extensive gait, corresponding trot with plenty of impulsion and a canter with uphill tendency, this progeny of GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. and Prince Thatch XX, bred by Hans-Heinrich Brüning and ridden by Fredric Wandres (GER), once again demonstrated a wonderful natural balance and great rideability. The Oldenburg stallion received 9.8 points for perspective, 9.7 for each of trot, canter and rideability and 9.4 for walk. The overall average mark of 9.66 points meant the title of world champion for this exceptional stallion, who was sold for 370,000 euros at the PSI auction in 2017 to an Asian investor family syndicated under the name Star Horses.
