Super placings for Gerco

Taking part in the traditional, international New Year Tour from 17-20 January 2019 at the Equestrian Center de Peelbergen (Kronenberg) in his homeland was GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder with his horses, GLOCK’s Debalia, GLOCK’s Dobelensky, GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc and Alpha Nero. In a total of eight of the twelve courses he rode, not a single bar fell. The reward was three excellent placings on this international stage.

In the CSI2* competition over 1.40 m on Saturday (19/01), in the saddle on eleven-year-old GLOCK’s Debalia, daughter of Numero Uno, Gerco rode penalty-free into the jump-off, where he took 13th place. In the CSI1* Grand Prix on Sunday (20/01), he piloted the just eight-year-old KWPN gelding, Alpha Nero, through the course, with due allowance for the horse’s age and, with just one time penalty, took a superb tenth place. In the main competition, the CSI2* Grand Prix of Peelbergen, the experienced rider also qualified for the jump-off and, riding the Holstein GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc (Clearway x Caretino 2), took ninth place.
