GLOCK riders impress in Italy

At the CSI3*, CSI1* in La Bagnaia in Italy (21–23 September 2012), Dieter Köfler showed that Glock’s Zyrano was a competitor to be taken seriously. The Carinthian chalked up a clear round on the eight-year-old gelding in the 1.30 m class on the Saturday, only being beaten by the Italian Roberto Turchetto in the jump-off. With a second place under his belt, he then went in for the 1.35 m accumulator on the Sunday. Here, too, the pair scored a clear round with a fast time to finish second.

Also in Italy, this time at the CICO3* CIC1* CIC2* in Montelibretti (20–23 September 2012), GLOCK rider Katrin Khoddam-Hazrati proved she can hold her own at an international level. Having come in second at the regional dressage championships with Glock’s Grandioso a week earlier, the young Styrian now showed her strength in eventing with Glock’s Chasanova. Following the dressage for the CIC1* DUBARRY, Katrin and Glock’s Chasanova were in fourth place. They then managed to hold on to the ranking with a sound cross-country event. A fast yet steady round in the show jumping arena put Glock’s Chasanova and Katrin into fifth place overall, which was also the best Austrian result.
