GLOCK’s Dream Boy available for fresh and frozen semen

The year 2020 was that set for the Tokyo Olympic Games and consequently an important year for the sporting career of GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P.

As a result of the cancellation of all important dressage tournaments till further notice along with the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and because of high levels of demand from many breeders, from Friday 27/03/2020 GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. will once again be available for fresh semen.

GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. brings together the three most important Dutch stallion bloodlines. This long-legged black horse was the first KWPN-licensed son of Vivaldi in this sought-after black colouration who, in turn, embodied the bloodlines of the famous stallions Krack C and Jazz in his ancestry. His damsire, Ferro, is the father of Edward Gal’s famous Olympic horse, GLOCK’s Undercover, and grandfather of the Olympic winner, Valegro. GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. is one of the most popular stallions in the Netherlands.

Many of his descendants have achieved high scores at mare shows and licensing events. He already has several licensed sons, including the KWPN Reserve Champion stallion Ierland so tragically lost in 2016. GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. also delivered the winning stallion at the 2019 Westphalian licensing, sold for 1.9 million euros. Born in 2017, his son Blue Hors Monte Carlo was the premium stallion of the 2020 KWPN stallion licensing, whilst his son Dynamic Dream, also born in 2017, achieved a record price in the Westphalian licensing in Münster in 2020, sold to Helgstrand Dressage for 1.9 million euros. All these successes prove once again that GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. passes his exceptional characteristics on to his offspring.

In 2014 under his rider of that time, Gerdine Maree, GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. won bronze at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. He is now ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud at Grand Prix level with great success and is an important member of the Dutch dressage team. They took silver in the 2017 Dutch Dressage Championships Small Tour and, in 2018 and 2019, also took silver in the Big Tour. In both 2018 and 2019, GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. represented the Dutch team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon (USA) and the European Championships in Rotterdam (NED), where the Dutch team took team silver. It was also in 2019 that this outstanding stallion was ‘FEI horse of the month’ and qualified in April for the FEI World Cup Final in Gothenburg (SWE). He also qualified for the 2020 World Cup finals.
