GLOCK’s horses shine at home three-star show

The GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER played host to the international CSI3* season opener last weekend and also attracted many international stars from 31 January to 3 February. Together with the music, film and above all equestrian stars from 29 nations, GLOCK riders Robert and Gerfried Puck and David Tschikof also shone in the arena with their GLOCK horses.

Robert and Gerfried Puck showed their strength right away in the 1.30 m opening jumping for all tours on Thursday. Riding his eight-year-old grey gelding GLOCK’s Alato SR, Robert came in sixth. Gerfried had also saddled a GLOCK grey, this time GLOCK’s Wibo B, and remained calm and collected to post a clear opening round, finishing 16th. David Tschikof also held his own extremely well at international level, placing 15th in the Amateur Tour opening on 13-year-old GLOCK’s Timo.

Following an ideal start to the day with eighth spot in the Youngster Tour for Gerfried Puck on seven-year-old GLOCK’s Chamonix B sired by Castillo, Friday saw an outstanding win in the Silver Tour: Robert Puck and GLOCK’s Ambelina Jb demonstrated GLOCK perfection in the 1.35 m class. Jumping in front of the cheering home crowd, the local Carinthian managed to stay focused and fast for a winning clear round in a time of 52.53 seconds.

With sixth place, young horse GLOCK’s Chamonix B ridden by Gerfried Puck again showed his strength in the final of the Youngster Tour. Then on Sunday it was a nail-biting 1.45 m Silver Tour final thanks to the GLOCK rider aboard GLOCK’s Wibo B battling it out with 66 others to win and gain valuable world ranking points. GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck and his grey were the 30th combination to start and they produced a flawless round in an absolutely incredible time of 31.88 seconds to easily take the lead. Paul Estermann (SUI) came within 0.10 seconds of the GLOCK pair’s top result, but none of the other starters were to beat the two high flyers. The win therefore went to Austria and GLOCK’s Wibo B ridden by Gerfried Puck!
