GLOCK’s youngsters excel in Wiener Neustadt

They certainly aimed for the stars at the CSI2* CSIYH1* in Wiener Neustadt last weekend. GLOCK rider Gerfried Puck presented his young GLOCK horses to the international competition at the CSIYH1* event for promising show jumpers. Following a second place on Thursday, he succeeded in winning the final with GLOCK’s Celebration B on Sunday. Although the course was tricky, the Ovidius son easily qualified for the jump-off and here, too, came in a clear first in a fast time of 40.96 seconds. GLOCK’s Chamonix, a year older, jumped effortlessly without any penalties in 62.39 seconds on Thursday, which together with the other clear rounds meant first prize in the Youngster Tour for six-year-old horses.

The 11-year-old mare GLOCK’s Usrava that Gerfried rode in the CSI2* has much more show jumping experience. She proved it by finishing 13th in the opening Medium Tour competition on Thursday and seventh in the accumulator on Sunday.
