Nations Cup home win for Edward & Hans Peter

For every rider, riding for the Nations Cup on home ground is both a special honour and a particular challenge. Nominated by trainer Alex van Silfhout for the Dutch dressage team in the CHIO Twente were not only Hans Peter Minderhoud with GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. but also Edward Gal with GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P.. Hans Peter also went to the start in the CDI3* with Zanardi.

Two victories for Edward – top placings for Hans Peter
For Edward and eleven-year-old stallion GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P., son of Blue Hors Zack, things went brilliantly both in the CDIO3* Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle. The GLOCK duo took magnificent victories in both competitions, delighted with scores of 78.304 % in the Grand Prix and 82.250 % in the Grand Prix Freestyle and thereby contributing significantly to the Dutch team’s home win.

Things also went perfectly for GLOCK Rider Hans Peter. He presented 11-year-old GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P., son of Vivaldi, in both the CDIO3* Grand Prix and the Special, taking 7th place (73.522 %) and 4th place (73.170 %) respectively.

Nations Cup victory for the Netherlands
The Dutch team, including the two GLOCK Riders Edward Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoud along with Emmelie Scholtens and Diederik van Silfhout, spurred on by encouragement from their delighted home crowd, celebrated a clear Nations Cup victory with a total of 17 points, ahead of Sweden (19 points) and Great Britain (48 points).
