Pappas Amadeus Horse Indoors: great success and world ranking points for GLOCK’s horses

The starting list at the Pappas Amadeus Horse Indoors – Austria’s horse and hound festival at Christmas time – was top class, drawing more than 35,000 spectators to the festively decorated Salzburg exhibition centre from 6 to 9 December. Together with the Salzburg arena, it was the meeting place for horse lovers over these four days. 33 nations competed against each other in the various jump, dressage, vaulting, driving, polo and horseball events. At the CSI4* the many first-rate entrants definitely meant business and they also included GLOCK’s horses.

In the hands of Gerfried Puck, GLOCK’s Usrava shone at the CSI4* opening in the 1.45 m jumping class on Thursday (6 Dec) by finishing eighth and GLOCK’s Prince de Vaux ridden by Dieter Köfler came sixth at the Mercedes Benz Masters on Friday (7 Dec) in the 1.50 m class, which was not only the best Austrian result but also earned him important world ranking points. Gerfried Puck won points as well on GLOCK’s Wibo with an excellent seventh place on Saturday (8 Dec) in the world ranking 1.45 m jumping class for the Pappas Men’s Trophy.
