Vice-champions of the small tour: Hans Peter Minderhoud & Syrakus

From May 5 to 8, the 2022 Dutch Championships took place at the Ermelo Dressage Center. Due to an injury to his Olympic horse GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P., GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud had to abstain from competing in the big tour, but presented the highly talented eight-year-old Oldenburg stallion Syrakus (Sezuan x Gribaldi) in the small tour.

The duo presented themselves at their best in the Prix St George and the final musical freestyle, and were rewarded by the judges with 74.167% and 77.742% respectively. With a total score of 151.909, the two-time European Team Champion was assured of the silver medal behind Bart Verze, who rode Imposantos to two wins and the title.

The Dutch champion became an Olympic participant and teammate of the two GLOCK Riders; Dinja van Liere, on her wonderful Hermes.

Congratulations to all the winners and those who placed!
