Welcome, GLOCK’s Novellist

“He has lots of ability, a super disposition and top qualities – so everything we need for a future top horse”, the delighted comment by GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder on a new GLOCK star horse in the stables: GLOCK’s Novellist.

He knows this smart five-year-old very well; indeed, the Belgian-reared chestnut stallion had already spent a few weeks at the famous show jumping rider’s stables. “He has good basic speed and is a superb jumper.” GLOCK’s Novellist is descended from Carrera VDL, himself highly successful in the sport and whose father Cardento won silver three times under Peter Eriksson at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships. His mother’s father, Dulf van den Bisschop, was highly successful under Harrie Smolders before he was then sold on to the USA in 2011. In 2013 he became a BWP Elite Stallion and, in 2017, a BWP Ambassador.

“GLOCK’s Novellist can do all the things of which a five-year-old should be capable. Now we’ll give him time to acquire experience and fitness.", says experienced GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder, who wants to train the BWP stallion for the future with appropriate care.
