Kathrin and Gaston Glock donate €6,000 for animal sponsorship

As part of the Schönbrunn Zoo's traditional animal sponsorship festivities, Kathrin and Gaston Glock joined the ranks of Schönbrunn's animal sponsors in celebratory style.

No less than fifteen previously unsponsored animals will spend the next five years sponsored by the Glocks, who are known for their intensive and frequent efforts on behalf of animal welfare. Kathrin Glock used the occasion as a chance to personally get to know her "adopted" animals, a group that includes not only many exotic creatures such as a Goeldi's monkey, a black-and-white colobus monkey and a nilgai, but also a well-known local breed: a Noriker horse.
