Gold for GLOCK rider Edward Gal

The two have more than enough experience, yet GLOCK rider Edward Gal beamed with pride yesterday. Under the Dutchman’s guidance, 18-year-old Interfloor Next One sired by Jazz danced with a wonderful lightness to gold. It was the third Indoor Championship crown for Edward, which he also won on the famous stallions Lingh and Totilas but the first for Nekie, as Interfloor Next One is affectionately called at the stables.

In Utrecht competitors vied for the title of 2013 Dutch Indoor Champion over two days. GLOCK rider Edward Gal earned an amazing runaway victory in the dressage arena here, scoring 74.79% in the Grand Prix right on the first day and taking a clear lead of over four percentage points. On Sunday the second test was the Freestyle to music in front of full stands. Edward and Nekie charmed judges and spectators alike. Their reward: 76.54% and another win with a lead of just under four percentage points. The 2013 Indoor Champion title therefore went to GLOCK rider Edward Gal and Interfloor Next One.

“I only decided to take part here at short notice, but GLOCK’s Undercover and GLOCK’s Romanov have a few important tests ahead of them and Nekie is doing so well at the moment that I thought I’ll go for it! And if I enter a competition, I want to win it, which is what we did today,” said Edward Gal delighted about the titel.
