Lausejunge on a successful course

The "Riesenbeck International" facilities to the north of Münster (GER) are rated highly by top international riders. It’s no wonder, because this equestrian sport paradise, owned by professional rider Ludger Beerbaum, offers everything one might desire. Also keen to make use of these ideal conditions was GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder (NED), as he embarked on the indoor season. He set off on the journey with GLOCK’s Lausejunge and returned to The Netherlands with good results and a positive summary.

Nine-year-old Westphalian gelding, GLOCK’s Lausejunge, made a magnificent impression during the CSI2* events. Round the course over 1.40 m in the 1st qualification for the Grand Prix on Friday, the duo easily stayed penalty-free and took 15th place. Gerco also went for the Grand Prix itself with GLOCK’s Lausejunge. In this world ranking jumping competition it was necessary to master the basic course over 1.45 m penalty-free in order to progress to the deciding jump-off. No problem for Gerco and the son of Ludwigs As. They took the obstacles with élan and were delighted with an ultimate 14th place. "He’s developing really superbly" said GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder. "He cleared twice in the big jumps and jumped particularly well today in the Grand Prix. I’m very satisfied!"
