Gold and silver for GLOCK Riders Gal and Minderhoud
For all riders who have already delivered the required results and have their sights on starting in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, starting in the Dutch Championships in Ermelo (NED) was obligatory. So our GLOCK Riders, Edward Gal and Hans-Peter Minderhoud, were also at the start with GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. and GLOCK’s Dream Boy at the NK Dressuur Gelderland from 27-29 July.
Gold and silver for Team GLOCKPutting on an outstanding show once again this championship weekend were Edward Gal and ten-year-old GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. Despite torrential rain during their Grand Prix, the smart DWB stallion wasn’t to be unnerved, executing the movements with great concentration and finishing with a convincing 79.435 % and victory. With that the GLOCK duo took over as leaders from GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud and GLOCK’s Dream Boy, who had received 74.414 % for their Grand Prix. In the Grand Prix freestyle on Sunday, Edward and GLOCK’s Zonic N.O.P. again played to their strengths and, with 83.425 %, won not only the competition but also the Dutch Championship. The title of Vice Champion also fell to Team GLOCK, because Hans Peter and GLOCK’s Dream Boy gave a convincing performance in the freestyle to music, receiving 81.435 % and second place, taking silver in the championship results.
