Third place for Gerco in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Humlikon

For the 14th time from 27/08 till 02/09, Paul Freimüller, Fritz Pfändler and Gerold Mändli hosted the CSI Humlikon (CH) and, despite some inclement weather Wetterkapriolen and a raging summer storm, im Vorfeld around 20,000 visitors managed to get to German Switzerland Deutschschweiz. Among the celebrated show jumping riders in the CSI3* competitions was GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder, who was able to celebrate two top-five placings.

In the saddle on 15-year-old GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc, as early as Friday (30/08) Gerco achieved a penalty-free round, meaning fifth place in this World Ranking competition over 1.50 m. On Sunday (02/09) the progeny of Clearway x Caretino 2 gave it even more in the CSI3* Grand Prix and again remained penalty-free in the basic round over 1.55 m. In the deciding jump-off between the best ten duos, Gerco then rode the Holstein with great Umsicht and skill through a rapid round and was able to celebrate an outstanding third place.
