GLOCK’s 2* Tour kick-off victory for Willi Fischer (AUT)

The very first indoor International Show Jumping at 5-star level is officially opened! Seventy-three riders from 16 nations with 176 horses have come to the three-day Season Opening at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria, among them five Olympic winners, three World Champions and European Champions and twelve young-rider European Champions.

From 9am, 42 ambitious contestants from 13 nations formed the distinguished field that kicked off the international Season Opening with the GLOCK’s 2* Tour in the magnificently decorated tournament hall of the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria. Kick-off victory in this international competition over 1.35 m went to a rider from Austria, namely 24-year-old Willi Fischer. In the saddle on eleven-year-old Dollargirl 16, daughter of Dollar King, among a total of 22 penalty-free duos, he achieved the fastest flawless round. With an advantage of almost two seconds, he took victory in 57.94 seconds, ahead of Dominik Fuhrer from Switzerland on his ten-year-old Holstein mare, Call Me Marilyn. Occupying third place for Belgium were Damien Haelterman and nine-year-old KWPN gelding, Faran.
