Second 5-star victory for Denis Lynch (IRL)

It was with victory for Ireland in the CSI5* GLOCK’s Perfection Tour (1.50 m) that Denis Lynch (IRL), in the saddle on his twelve-year-old KWPN mare, Pretty Little Liar, scored points yesterday (Saturday 02/02/2019), and today too (Sunday 03/02/2019) the Irish national anthem rang out for the successful duo. Once again, the team European Champion gave a convincing performance in the CSI5* GLOCK’s Perfection Tour (1.50 m), the third of a total of five LONGINES Ranking competitions being staged this weekend at the GHPC Austria. A penalty-free round along with a time of 62.40 seconds in this competition over 1.50 metres with a prize purse of 25,000 euros meant victory ahead of Italy’s Alberto Zorzi on his eleven-year-old, Dutch-bred mare, Danique.

Occupying third place was Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and his Belgian-bred Insolente Des Dix Bonniers (0/62.91).

Following a penalty-free round in 64.67 seconds on that handsome, eleven-year-old KWPN gelding, GLOCK’s Dobelensky, GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder was able to celebrate fifth place.

Delivering a red-white-red placing among the top ten was Max Kühner (AUT/T) and his 12-year-old Holstein stallion, Cielito Lindo, in ninth place.
